Saints Supporting Saints: 优蜜传媒's "SaintsGiving" Event Scheduled For Tuesday, Nov. 30

SaintsGiving 2021

优蜜传媒 is responding to meet the needs of its students and campus community by partnering with GivingTuesday to ask past Saints to contribute to the success of future Saints by giving back to their alma mater during its one-day 鈥淪aintsGiving鈥 fundraising campaign on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

GivingTuesday, the catalyst behind 优蜜传媒鈥檚 鈥淪aintsGiving,鈥 is a global generosity movement intended to empower people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. Groups participating in GivingTuesday will kick off the season of generosity next Tuesday by inspiring people to give back to the institutions and organizations that support them.

Supporters of Limestone鈥檚 鈥淪aintsGiving鈥 are asked to make donations to the University to inspire change in the campus community and make a difference in the lives of Limestone students. To encourage giving, the University will match the first $7,000 in first-time donor gifts 鈥 which means those contributions will double in value for Limestone.

鈥淢any things contribute to the greatness of an institution like Limestone,鈥 said Candace Waters, Limestone鈥檚 Associate Vice President for Development and Director of 鈥淪aintsGiving.鈥 鈥淥ne of the best indicators of the success of a college or university is the involvement and commitment of its alumni. This year, we challenge past and current Saints to support Limestone鈥檚 commitment to high-impact learning, creating pathways to meaningful careers, and transforming our campus to attract talented students and accommodate 21st century teaching.鈥

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 to create a day that would encourage people to do good, something Waters knows will inspire Limestone alumni. 鈥淥ver the past eight years, this idea has grown into a global movement inspiring hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity,鈥 she noted. 鈥淲e know our alumni care about Limestone. It doesn鈥檛 take a big donation to make a big difference.鈥

鈥淲ith country and community leaders, millions of organizations, and countless givers of all kinds, GivingTuesday has created an opportunity for people to drive progress around the causes they care about,鈥 said Asha Curran, GivingTuesday鈥檚 CEO and co-founder.
