A championship weekend and a graduation celebration!
With Limestone Women鈥檚 Lacrosse heading to the South Atlantic Conference title game on Saturday, we made sure two of our standout student-athletes had their moment in the spotlight!
On Friday, May 2, Joscelin Martin and Zoie Marie Zanoni were honored in a special graduation ceremony inside the Hines & Riggins Center -- both graduating Cum Laude with Honors!
Led by Provost Dr. Brian Ameling, the ceremony celebrated not only their academic achievements but also their dedication, resilience, and heart on and off the field.
Join us Saturday, May 3, for our official Commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium as we continue celebrating the amazing Class of 2025!

Dr. Ameling's commencement comments are below:
Good afternoon, Saints.
It is an honor to stand before you today on behalf of the faculty, staff, administration, and the entire 优蜜传媒 community to celebrate the Class of 2025.
Now, let鈥檚 be honest. This isn鈥檛 your typical graduation ceremony.
There are no long lines of students in caps and gowns, no grand procession, and it鈥檚 only a few of you who entered to the chords of 鈥淧omp and Circumstance.鈥 Instead, we gather here in this unique moment with not a lot of pomp, but with purpose. Not with tradition, but with tenacity.
And truly, I can think of no better setting to honor you.
Each of you has walked a road paved with early morning practices and late-night study sessions. You鈥檝e juggled class schedules with game schedules, office hours with team meetings, labs with lifts.
You鈥檝e balanced the dual demands of being a collegiate athlete and an academic scholar with grace, grit, and a relentless work ethic.
To be a student-athlete at 优蜜传媒 is no small feat. It means committing to a lifestyle where 鈥済ood enough鈥 is never enough. You have given your all 鈥 not only on the field, but in the classroom. You鈥檝e pushed yourselves to achieve excellence in both arenas, and today, we celebrate the result of that dedication.
This ceremony may look different, but its meaning is as powerful 鈥 if not more 鈥 than any traditional commencement. Because what we are witnessing is the very heart of the Limestone spirit: resilience, excellence, and unity.
You are leaving Limestone not just with a degree, but with a legacy. You have shown what it means to lead, to sacrifice, to strive, and to uplift each other. Those are qualities that extend far beyond the final whistle. Whether you're stepping into careers, graduate programs, or new chapters yet to be written, carry that spirit with you. Because what you鈥檝e learned here 鈥 on the field, in the classroom, and through every challenge 鈥 has prepared you to face the world with confidence and courage.
As Provost, I want to thank you. Thank you for showing us what determination looks like. Thank you for representing Limestone with pride and excellence. And thank you for reminding us all that graduation isn鈥檛 just about the ceremony 鈥 it鈥檚 about the journey, and the impact you make along the way.
So, as you continue this postseason journey, know this: You are already champions in every sense of the word.
Congratulations, Class of 2025. We are proud of you. We are cheering for you. And we will always be your biggest fans!
