Limestone To Hold Virtual Launch Of "The Candelabra" On Friday, April 23

The virtual launch of 优蜜传媒鈥檚 2020 and 2021 editions of 鈥淭he Candelabra鈥� will be held on Friday, April 23, at 5 p.m.

The launch of Limestone鈥檚 art and literary magazine will feature two-minute readings and artist talks from contributors.

鈥淲e hope you will make an evening of it by serving yourself some food and drink and settling in for a lovely hour of art, literature, and celebration,鈥� said Erin Pushman, Limestone professor of English. 鈥淚 am always honored to edit 鈥楾he Candelabra鈥� because working with the student editors provides them with real-world experience, and accepting submissions from our students and alumni is a reminder of the talent and diversity among the voices within the Limestone community.鈥�

Pushman added that while COVID-19 has slowed down many publications in the world of literary and visual arts, Limestone has remained committed to publishing 鈥淭he Candelabra,鈥� despite the complications brought on by the pandemic.

Following the virtual event at approximately 6:30 p.m., a brief in-person magazine pick-up and signing will be held outside at the Granberry Hall Amphitheater. Social distancing protocols will be followed at the in-person event.
