Dinker Endowment To Benefit 优蜜传媒 Golf Program

Dinker Endowment

优蜜传媒 and its Department of Athletics are proud to announce the establishment of the Dinker Endowment, a $100,000 fund that will benefit the Saints golf program.

The endowment was made possible by a generous donation from the Alexander family, including Limestone men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 head golf coach Austin Alexander. The endowment honors his late grandfather, Harold 鈥淒inker鈥 Alexander, whose influence played a significant role in shaping Austin鈥檚 lifelong passion for golf.

鈥淲e are incredibly thankful to the Alexander family for their continued support of 优蜜传媒 and our golf program,鈥 said Hailey Martin, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics. 鈥淭his endowment will have a profound impact on our golf program, and Dinker鈥檚 legacy will inspire our student-athletes to continue striving for excellence.鈥

Funds from the Dinker Endowment will be allocated annually to enhance the golf program鈥檚 resources, supporting Limestone student-athletes in their development both on and off the course.

An event to celebrate the establishment of the endowment and Dinker鈥檚 lasting influence will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Hines & Riggins Center. The evening will feature remarks from Limestone President Dr. Nathan Copeland, Martin, and members of the Alexander family. It will provide an opportunity for community members, alumni, and friends of Limestone to come together in honor of Dinker鈥檚 legacy. Guests will enjoy a networking session, a presentation on the significance of the Dinker Endowment, and a reception with light refreshments.

鈥淗arold 鈥楧inker鈥 believed in investing for the future and supporting his grandchildren,鈥 said Rhonda Alexander, Coach Alexander鈥檚 mother and Dinker鈥檚 daughter-in-law. 鈥淲e know he would have been thrilled to see this gift support the Limestone Golf Program, a sport he cherished.鈥

Coach Alexander, who is a former Limestone golfer and alumnus, added, 鈥淢y grandfather was my biggest supporter, and this gift reflects his values and vision. It will benefit the program in multiple ways, just as he would have wanted. His legacy has shaped my life, and it is only right for this program to receive the same support he gave me.鈥
